About Sébastien Rake
Sébastien was born in Southern California, and grew up in Oregon. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2006 with a Bachelors of Architecture. During school, Sébastien was a coordinator for HOPES, a sustainable design conference. He spend his junior year abroad in France, studying French and Mideaval Art History. The following year, he spent a term in Italy, continuing his architectural studies. Upon graduating, he relocated to Cape Town, South Africa for six months to conduct research on vernacular architecture & community design. He lived in Vancouver, B.C. for over 3 years. Sebastien has applied hard work to his passion for wine as a student with the WSET curriculum, as well as working hands-on in a winery. He now lives in Portland, Oregon.
